Let's know them! ## Tolox spa Created in 1867, it is the only **spa in Spain**, which is **specialized in breathing diseases**, as its thermal water releases a gas to be inhalated. The spa is very closed to [Tolox](http://www.visitcostadelsol.com/health-and-wellness/things-to-do/tolox-p10051?_ga=2.16756790.1052361035.1516023698-131020156.1510675820), a beatiful town which is part of the region Sierra de las Nieves. Among its services, treatments of 12-15 days for asthma, bronchitis, respiratory allergies, chilhood asthma etc.; as well as weekly treatments for atopic dermatitis. In addition to the spa, which is open from May 1st to October 31th, the facilities also offer appartments, which are whole year available, and a completly restored [hotel](http://www.visitcostadelsol.com/health-and-wellness/spas-wellness-centres-and-arab-baths/hotel-del-balneario-p44311?_ga=2.16756790.1052361035.1516023698-131020156.1510675820), built in 1870, that is opened from June 1st to October 31th.   ## Spa Villa Padierna Thermas de Carratraca Located in a privileged place, right in the Valle del Guadalhorce, the remedial power of its waters dates from the Romans, when warriors went to treat their injuries. The **therms of** [**Carratraca**](http://www.visitcostadelsol.com/health-and-wellness/things-to-do/carratraca-p9491?_ga=2.16756790.1052361035.1516023698-131020156.1510675820)  have been visited over the time by so much eminent personalities as Lord Byron, Alejandro Dumas or Hans Christian Andersen, and more recently, by Antonio Banderas or the Norwegian Princess, that have the choice of being benefited by its mineral-medicinal waters. Although these baths have always been recommended for dermatological diseases, this kind of waters are also advised for patients with articular and chronical rheumatism.
