Shopping centres
You’ll find a number of shopping centres all along the Costa del Sol. In Marbella, for instance, you have La Cañada, where you’ll find all the major companies, and then there’s the Miramar Centre in Fuengirola, which is one of the largest shopping centres in the province. There can be no doubt as to the variety and the quality of shopping.
Shopping by the beach
People visit the Costa del Sol throughout the year. This means its beachside shops and promenades continue to bustle throughout the winter as well. In these shops you’ll find all sorts of items, such as clothing, accessories, decorative accessories, souvenirs and the list goes on. Plus you often come across markets selling fresh and organic produce along the promenades, including products from the local areas and from all over Europe. It's also common for marinas such as Puerto Banús in Marbella and Muelle Uno in Málaga to hold handcraft markets by the sea.
Luxury shopping
Talking of Puerto Banús, how about a stroll around the marina and Avenida Julio Iglesias? This is where you’ll find various and exclusive luxury boutiques, and even haute couture establishments. Take a short walk around the area and you’ll be greeted by an array of different shops boasting top brands and sophisticated windows displays, such as those around the Goya Theatre.
Last but not least, let's not forget the variety of food and drink on offer. This ranges from traditional places where you can enjoy the finest meats and chargrilled fish in the region right the way to restaurant chains renowned the world over for more adventurous tourists.
