Malaga 1980 Pop Festival
The most emblematic pop and rock artists of the 80s have a date this weekend at the Paris 15 venue. Mikel Erentxun of Duncan Dhu, Nacho García Vega of Nacha Pop, Manuel España of La Guardia, Javier Ojeda of Danza Invisible, are just some of the artists who will come together. An unbeatable event!

El príncipe de Maquiavelo *(Machiavelli’s The Prince)
The words of Machiavelli's work are more relevant than ever today. This play, directed by Juan Carlos Rubio and starring Fernando Cayo, is made up of fragments of the works 'The Prince', 'Discourses on the First Decade of Titus Livius', ‘On the Art of War' and the personal correspondence of Nicolás Machiavelli.

El gusanito que quería volar (The Caterpillar who Wanted to Fly)
The Echegaray Theatre is putting on a delightfully endearing play for kids. The play is called ‘El gusanito que quería volar’, and tells the tale of Gordito, a silk worm. During the play entertaining characters appear to help him achieve his dream of flying.

We are completely free. Women Artists and Surrealism
The Picasso Museum of Malaga is playing host to a fascinating exhibition dedicated to Women Artists and Surrealism. It features works by artists such as Eileen Agar, Claude Cahun, Leonora Carrington, Germaine Dulac, Leonor Fini, Valentine Hugo, Frida Kahlo, Dora Maar and Maruja Mallo, amongst many others. The sprit of these women artists is on display in the more than one hundred works of art that make up this exhibition.

Autumn Walks: Puerto de los Pescadores - Mijas Guided Walk
Malaga Provincial Council is organising a series of guided nature walks along the Great Malaga Path. This weekend the walk runs along the route between el Puerto de los Pescadores and Mijas. A perfect opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors and to discover the Costa del Sol’s natural landscape.
