## **Special Events**

**Embrujo Andalusí (Andalusian Enchantment)**

The town of [Carratraca](http://www.visitcostadelsol.com/things-to-do/carratraca-p9491) is all dressed up over this period to celebrate its traditional Andalusian Enchantment festival. Its streets are decorated to create a wonderful medieval atmosphere allowing visitors to make a trip into the past, as well as enjoying a great programme of activities including exhibitions, plays, parades and music.

## **Leisure**

**The Golden Age Cycle**

Malaga Festival is holding the fifth *Golden Age* film event. Its success in previous years makes it one of the most notable events taking place in Malaga province over this period. Make sure you take advantage of this great opportunity to enjoy watching the best classic films in digital format and on the big screen.

**4th Malaga International Tattoo Convention**

During this weekend, [Malaga’s Exhibition and Conference Centre](http://www.visitcostadelsol.com/things-to-do/palacio-de-ferias-y-congresos-de-malaga-p14611) will host the fourth Tattoo Convention. The event will bring together Spain’s best tattoo artists as well as artists from Australia, Japan, Indonesia, Peru, Venezuela, Argentina, Russia and Finland. If you’re passionate about tattoos, don’t miss this opportunity to attend a prestigious event.

**Miguel Poveda in Concert**

This Saturday, the Cortijo de Torres Municipal Auditorium is hosting a concert by the Catalan singer-songwriter Miguel Poveda. The artist will entertain his audience with his latest work “Sonetos y Poemas para la Libertad” (Sonnets and Poems for Freedom), an album in which he draws from some of the best poets writing in Spanish including García Lorca, Miguel Hernández and Pablo Neruda.

## **Festivals and Fairs**

**Festival of the Virgin of Wonders, Nerja**

This weekend Maro, a hamlet in the municipality of [Nerja](http://www.visitcostadelsol.com/things-to-do/nerja-p9911), holds its traditional *Fiesta de las Maravillas* (Festival of the Virgin of Wonders). During this time, the young people of the town process the *Virgen de las Maravillas* through the streets. In addition, tourists can also enjoy numerous activities including barbecues on the beach and traditional and modern music concerts.

**Grape Harvest Festival, Mollina**

For another year, the town of [Mollina](http://www.visitcostadelsol.com/things-to-do/mollina-p9881) is celebrating the end of the grape harvesting season with its popular *Fiesta de la Vendimia* (Grape Harvest Festival). Throughout the weekend, visitors will be able to enjoy a multitude of activities including a *carrera de cintas a caballo* (a horse-riding competition where riders collect ribbons hung overhead), bicycle rides through the town and a market selling traditional artisan products.
