The Canela Party celebrates its eleventh edition this weekend. A music festival where everyone comes in fancy-dress, sporting their most original costumes. Starlite 2017: Malú
Once again, Starlite Marbella is amongst the highlights of the weekend. This weekend on the stage will be of one of the most successful female Spanish pop singers: Malú. City of Fuengirola Festival: Diego el Cigala
The City of Fuengirola Festival comes to an end, and it does so with one of the art of flamenco’s most iconic voices, both nationally and internationally. Zapata Cuisine Festival
Over the weekend the rural district of Alhaurín de la Torre hosts the Zapata Cuisine Festival. This festival has its origins in the 1990's, when the first cuisine competitions began with home-made food dishes, such as paella and Malagan “callos” or tripe. During the festival, the people of the town prepare dishes and share them with all the attendees. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy the most traditional dishes from the inland of the province.
Muscat grape day
The town of Iznate, in the Axarquía rural district, celebrates its traditional muscat grape day this Saturday. Each year, before harvesting, this fair takes place in celebration of the product. The streets of Iznate are decked out to welcome all the visitors who can taste typical local recipes from the area throughout the day.

World Amateur Golf Championships Spain 2017
This weekend sees the start of the Amateur Golf World Championship, a circuit of 37 events at several golf courses all over Spain. Malaga Golf Parador, the Guadalhorce Golf Club and Golf Torrequebrada are the venues where the event will be held, on 5, 12 and 25 August.
