Why not combine business and paradise? The Costa del Sol has the best qualities as a leisure destination, no doubt, but also has a great infrastructure for business trips. With five convention centres, an unbeatable hotel industry and a wide tourist offer, the province of Malaga is an ideal place for organising meetings, trade shows and conventions.
Trade Fair and Congress Centre of Malaga
A good example of the price upwards of Malaga in the conference tourism sector are the numerous appointments that will be held in the city this autumn. The largest exhibition area of the Costa del Sol will host between the 14 and 16 of October the Celebra Malaga, a fair dedicated to the organisation of weddings and social events. Ten days later, the Fifth Self-Employment Forum – Being an Entrepreneur will take place, to be followed by the Congress of Tourism and Information and Communications Technology (Turitec).
On the 28th of October, bargain hunters have their opportunity at the Malaga Outlet Fair (Stock!). And from 11 November, it will be the turn of the Motor Vehicles Show 2016 and the Salon Inmobiliario del Mediterraneo, SIMed (Mediterranean Real Estate Exhibition). These three appointments will last three days and will put in contact sellers and buyers hungry for discounts.
The Palace of Congresses of Malaga will also be the scene of two medical conferences this autumn: the Spanish Society of Endocrinology and Nutrition (from 19 to 21 October) and the Spanish Society of Oral Surgery (from 17 to 19 November).
International events on the Costa del Sol
The fourth International Meeting of Planet Earth will gather between 12 and 13 November experts and stakeholders in areas such as natural health, economic justice and sustainability. A unique opportunity to learn and participate in workshops on shiatsu, yoga, mindfulness, awareness and healthy eating.
On the 2nd of December, Marbella’s enclosure will be decked for Luxury Advertising Awards. Many celebrities and personalities of social life will attend this Festival of Advertising of Luxury and Premium Brands.
The Sixth International Fantastic Film Festival of Torremolinos and the Photofestival will be the two main events that the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of the Costa del Sol will house in autumn. The first will begin on 27 October. The second, dedicated to the photography industry, will begin on 11 November.
