Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga: celebrating 20 years as a leading conference centre

 Tags: MICE

Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga is celebrating its 20th anniversary. A favourite event venue for both the worlds of business and art, the trade fair and conference centre has become a leader in Spain and the rest of Europe over the past two decades.

Best known by the acronym FYCMA, this MICE event venue is celebrating its 20 year anniversary as a leading event venue for business and cultural get-togethers that is renowned within Spain and around the world. Since its inception, it has hosted prestigious trade fairs and conferences. Indeed, according to the Spain Convention Bureau and Asociación de Ferias de España (AFE), since opening its doors in March 2003, it has held over 2,600 events, brought together over 9.3 million people and generated over 2,020 million euros.

But what is it that makes FYCMA, Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga, so special? Why do so many businesses choose it to host their events and, even more importantly, why do they come back year after year? For starters, FYCMA is much more than an event venue: it is everything that happens inside it. Relationship and network building. Growth. Comfort. Adaptability. Practical solutions and great aesthetics. Attention to detail. Feeling at home as soon as you step inside. And, of course, it is also a space for leisure, which is not the antithesis of business.

Secondly, the surroundings are an important factor. This beautiful part of southern Spain where the weather is lovely all year round and where spectacular landscapes and charming traditions combine with unbeatable cuisine, an increasingly rich and varied offer of activities and experiences, accessible accommodation and places like FYCMA in Malaga, which turn events into must-attends, mean that success is always guaranteed. The Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga team provides personalised, 360° consultancy in collaboration with an extensive network of partners and experts. And then there is the professionalism of the companies specialising in event planning in the Costa del Sol
