Spanish Mountain Bike Championship
The Spanish Mountain Bike Championship is being held this Saturday in the town of Alhaurín de la Torre. It will be the race that closes the event’s 5th year and is expected to see the participation of about 800 people.
This important event will bring together the best riders on the national scene on a 71-kilometre course with more than 2,800 metres of cumulative elevation gain that will pass through the landscapes of the Sierra de Jarapalos, Alhaurín de la Torre, Alhaurín el Grande and Mijas.

“La Autora de las Meninas” (The author of the Ladies-in-waiting)
Performed by the actress Carmen Machi, the play “La Autora de las Meninas” recounts a time when Europe is going through a deep crisis that forces Spain to part with some of its artistic heritage. You can enjoy it on stage at Malaga’s Cervantes Theatre.

Chanquete World Music
Another of the musical events taking place this weekend is the Chanquete World Music festival. “El playazo” beach in Nerja will be the setting for the event in its second year, with artists including Mala Rodríguez, Carlos Jean and Mario Díaz.
Melendi. “Quítate las gafas” (Take off your glasses)
This Saturday, Malaga’s Exhibition and Conference Centre is hosting one of the most highly anticipated concerts. Regarded as one of the most important and beloved artists of recent years, Melendi is coming to the Costa del Sol to present his eighth work “Quítate las gafas”. The Asturian singer faces one of his most ambitious tours with a project composed of eleven songs. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy a live concert by one of the best artists of the moment.
