Are you planning to go for a drive wherever in the province of Málaga? We propose you a route to three beatiful villages of the Costa del Sol. Be ready to get lost through some of the most amazing landscapes of the province!

Álora

Right in the heart of Valle del Guadalhorce you find Álora, a town plenty of historical and artistical value, with a highlighted Arabic Castle proclamed national monument. Other interest points are the church of la Encarnación, the Museo Municipal ‘Rafael Lería’ or the hermitage of la Veracruz. Its natural wealth is not less impressive, with the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes as the highest expression, where the famous Caminito del Rey lies, with an almost impossible layout along this thrilling natural spot.

Guaro

Driving 44,8 kilometers along A-355 Guaro is founded, a village lying in the region of Sierra de las Nieves. Known by his famous Festival de la Luna Mora, stands out its framework of white houses and steep streets and, mostly, the fantastic natural environment that surrounds it. The parochial church of San Miguel Arcángel and both hermitages of la Cruz del Puerto and San Isidro are some of the most outstanding monuments. Likewise, it also deserves a visit the Centro Cultural Al-Andalus  and its Museo Etnográfico del Aceite, that keeps an Arabic oil presser from the XII century.

Ojén

And slightly 16 kilometers away to Marbella you come to Ojén, a village with a Morisque origin that is located between the sea and Sierra de las Nieves. Who visits it for the first time falls shocked by the natural surrounding and its cultural life. Among its most known monuments underscores the Fuente de los Chorros, from which water is supplied since 1905.
