Fashion and art outdoors at Muelle Uno
Muelle Uno is the shopping area located next to the Port of Malaga. It will be the first place you see when you arrive and also where you can do your shopping. Here, you’ll find shops for home furnishings, fashion, footwear, jewellery, cosmetics and art as well as a handicraft market. Another place you shouldn’t miss is the Artsenal, a cultural and creative space where you can buy works by local artists.
Unique purchases in the Thyssen District
If you want to buy original and unusual items, we suggest you lose yourself in the streets known as the Thyssen District. This is the area surrounding the Carmen Thyssen Museum, a network of narrow streets in which you will find very unusual articles, local fashion, art galleries and unique pieces. One of the most charming streets is Andrés Pérez, with art galleries, fashion, crafts ... Also Calle Santa Lucía and Calle Nosquera, or Calle Cisneros and Calle Especerías. In the latter two, you’ll find shops with local gourmet products and shops specialising in teas and coffees of the world, as well as flamenco themed establishments. You will also find one of the oldest spice shops in Malaga.
Atarazanas Central Market
The Atarazanas Market is the ideal place to buy local food products. You can buy cheeses, sausages, extra virgin olive oil, Malaga wines, Frigiliana cane honey and all kinds of gourmet foods made on the Costa del Sol.
Calle Santa María
Calle Santa María, located between Plaza de la Constitución and Malaga Cathedral, is full of small shops where you can find your perfect souvenir.
