Known for its impressive natural beauty, rich culture and Mediterranean charm, the Costa del Sol has been one of the most popular tourist destinations in Spain for decades. However, the world of tourism is constantly evolving, and to remain at the forefront of the industry, it’s vital to adopt innovation and sustainability as basic principles. *Turismo y Planificación Costa del Sol* has announced its 7th Tourism Hub event, arriving as a beacon of inspiration and development for the tourism sector in the province of Malaga. ## **What is the Costa del Sol Tourism Hub?**

Costa del Sol Tourism Hub es un **programa de aceleración empresarial** que tiene como objetivo **impulsar la sostenibilidad, la digitalización y la adopción de tecnologías innovadoras en el sector turístico de la provincia de Málaga**. Este programa, promovido por Turismo y Planificación Costa del Sol, ha sido un **catalizador de la transformación del turismo** desde su creación.

Costa del Sol Tourism Hub is a **business accelerator programme** that aims to **boost sustainability, digitalisation and the adoption of innovative technology within the tourism sector in the province of Malaga.** Promoted by *Turismo y Planificación Costa del Sol,* this programme has been a **catalyst for the transformation of tourism** in the region since its inception.

 

## **What does the programme involve?**

This exciting initiative offers an **acceleration period of four months** to **companies no older than five years that work in the tourism sector,** such as **startups and entrepreneurs with business projects centred on tourism.** During this time, participants have the opportunity to validate their business models, identify market opportunities and improve business skills.

## **Who is the scheme aimed at?**

Costa del Sol Tourism Hub is designed for a wide range of players in the tourism industry. This programme is suitable for many different entities and individuals working in tourism.

## **7th edition of Tourism HUB: news and what to expect**

The seventh edition of Costa del Sol Tourism Hub is expected to be even **more exciting and revolutionary** than ever. Throughout the previous editions, **more than 50 projects have been part of the programme**, many of which have achieved great success in the tourism industry.

## **Costa del Sol Tourism Awards**

The programme culminates in the **Costa del Sol Tourism Awards** with participation by successful projects and prizes for **entrepreneurial tourism initiatives in the province of Malaga.** These awards not only give recognition and prestige to young businesses, but also serve as an important financial contribution helping to boost the growth of these tourism companies even more.

Awards are given out to winners of three different categories. Third place receives €2000, second place is awarded €3000 and the winning project takes home €5000.
