Los Reales de Sierra Bermeja

The Natural Site of Los Reales de Sierra Bermeja is strategically located between the imposing Sierra de las Nieves and the majestic Pico de Los Reales.

In addition to its botanical richness, it harbors a varied fauna, including mammals such as deer, genets, and mountain goats, as well as birds of prey like the golden eagle and the peregrine falcon, among others.

The Cliffs of Maro (Nerja), one of the natural landscapes on the coast of the province of Malaga. It spans a coastal strip of 12 kilometers with spectacular cliffs that offer panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea.

This place hosts a variety of protected botanical and marine species, including the orange coral, classified as vulnerable, and fish such as moray eels and groupers. Its natural richness has led the United Nations to declare it a Specially Protected Area of Importance for the Mediterranean.

The Gran Senda is a unique route of more than 850 kilometers, divided into 35 stages, crossing nine diverse natural spaces, from the coast to the mountains. It belongs to the Axarquía region, and one of the most valuable points of interest in the area is La Maroma, the highest peak with more than 2,000 meters. On the other hand, the Montes de Málaga Natural Park deserves a mandatory stop. This green paradise with panoramic views of the sea becomes the ideal place for hiking and cycling. The Los Alcornocales Natural Park, at the end of the Penibetic mountain range, hosts varied flora and fauna thanks to its microclimates. You'll find species such as the wild olive, the cork oak, and animals like the eagle owl, the griffon vulture, and the deer.

Likewise, the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, with 53,411 hectares, displays impressive canyons like the Garganta Verde (400 meters deep) and underground complexes like Hundidero-Gato. In Sierra del Pinar, you'll find numerous Spanish firs and in the Majaceite river, otters and forests of elms, willows, and poplars. Additionally, there are 136 bird species, as well as deer, roe deer, rabbits, partridges, and mountain goats.
