Travel back in time

Alcazaba and Castillo de Gibralfaro are the main legacies of the Arab period in Malaga city. Built between the 11th and 14th centuries, they are some of the best preserved defence architecture from the period in Spain. Sitting atop a hill of the same name, Gibralfaro castle affords spectacular views over the city and the Mediterranean Sea. Alcazaba, meanwhile, combines defence and beauty, and is one of the most iconic monuments in the city. The union of Roman and Arab cultures, paired with extraordinary views, make it a must-visit during your time in the capital of the province.

Unwind in the Arab baths

Hammam Al Andalus is one of the most popular romantic experiences in Malaga. The space has been done up to look like the Arab baths that once populated Al Ándalus. Here you can submerge yourself in five baths, steam rooms, relaxation areas and massage rooms where you will slowly find yourself unwinding in the embrace of the beautiful Nazari decor.
