A magical inauguration that lights up the city
The night of August 15th-16th marks the start of the Málaga Fair with a fireworks display over Malagueta Beach. This eagerly awaited event brings thousands of people to the sand and promenade to welcome the festivities.
The following day, the traditional pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of La Victoria and the official proclamation, delivered by Malaga writer Javier Castillo. After the proclamation, the Real del Cortijo de Torres grounds open their doors.
Two ways to experience the fair: day and night

During the day, both the historic center of Malaga like the Real del Cortijo de Torres, they offer options for all tastes.
In the city center, the streets fill with music, open-air bars, and verdiales groups, while in the Real, many booths open from midday, creating a fun atmosphere that anticipates the nighttime party.
Night Fair: all the flavor at Real del Cortijo de Torres
When the sun goes down, the fair moves entirely to the Real del Cortijo de Torres, where more than 120 booths decorated in traditional Andalusian style offer food, live music, and meeting spaces.
The booths host flamenco, copla, pop, and fusion concerts. There's also an amusement area designed for all ages.
Shows, concerts and activities for all tastes
More than 200 free shows are scheduled for the 2025 Málaga Fair. Confirmed artists include Chambao, Camela, Merche, Mojinos Escozíos, and Toreros con Chanclas.
In addition, there will be flamenco, copla, and equestrian performances. For bullfighting enthusiasts, the La Malagueta bullring will host its bullfighting fair from August 14 to 21, with figures such as Fortes, Roca Rey and Morante de la Puebla.
Malaga gastronomy to savor the fair
The fair is also an opportunity to discover the typical flavors of Malaga.
In the center and at the Real, you can enjoy fried fish, potato omelette, Iberian ham, chorizo, and blood sausage. Some stalls even offer tastings of rice and prepared tapas.
To toast, Cartojal, a sweet wine typical of the fair, is served very cold.
