Five places to play padel tennis on the Costa del Sol

 Tags: Lujo

Padel has seen exponential growth in recent years because it is an enjoyable sport of a distinctly social nature. During this time the Costa del Sol has become one of the main hubs for this sport in Spain thanks to its pleasant temperature throughout the year, and the large, modern open-air facilities where it can be played. In this article we give details of five places where you can play padel in the province of Málaga.

El Candado Club (Málaga)

El Candado Club is one of the most prestigious on the Costa del Sol due to its facilities and its location (only ten minutes away from the centre of the capital). It has seven padel courts and a large sports academy where both children and adults can learn to play and improve their game. Padel is very easy to play, but having lessons will help you to make quicker progress, of course. El Candado Club hosts games for the provincial padel tournament.

Puente Romano (Marbella)

Since the creation of the Puente Romano Club (it was inaugurated by the legendary tennis player Bjorn Borg), padel has occupied a privileged place among its activities. The centre has four courts which have been graced by some of the best players on the national scene, thanks to hosting tournaments such as the Andalucía Tennis Experience, included within the official WTA circuit, and one of the official tournaments of the World Padel Tour.

Club Municipal de Raqueta and Reserva del Higuerón (Benalmádena)

Benalmádena can boast two places that are important venues for playing padel. The Club Municipal de Raqueta in Benalmádena has been prepared exclusively for playing tennis and padel. It is located in the centre of the town and is only three minutes away from the beach. The Reserva del Higuerón is one of the largest tennis and padel resorts on the Costa del Sol and in the whole of Andalusia. There are a total of 11 padel courts.

Racket Club Fuengirola (Fuengirola)

Experts in sporting facilities were consulted prior to building the Racket Club Fuengirola with the aim of creating an innovative resort that is a leader in its field. There are four glazed padel courts with artificial grass available for use, which have been designed for use in top-level competition.
