Burriana beach, Nerja

A charming coastal town just 50 kilometres from the capital, Nerja is famous for its amazing beaches, and Burriana beach is one of them. With more than 800 metres of fine golden sand, it’s a favourite among tourists and boasts a magnificent seafront promenade with heaps of restaurants and shops to peruse. It also offers lots of water sports such as jet skiing, kayaking, paddle surfing, pedalos and even scuba diving tours.

Maro beach, Nerja

There are few places in the Costa del Sol quite as stunning as Maro beach - also known as Maro cove - in Nerja, considered one of the best beaches in Spain. Its crystal clear water, famous waterfall and magnificent natural scenery that presides over the stunning cliffs of Maro-Cerro Gordo natural area explain why it's one of the favourites among the locals and visitors to the province of Malaga.

 

Benajarafe beach, Benajarafe

12 kilometres from Vélez-Málaga you’ll find Benajarafe beach. Stretching more than 1,600 metres and located in the urban centre, it’s the perfect place to relax with family as it doesn’t get too busy.

 

La Cala del Moral beach, Rincón de la Victoria

La Cala del Moral beach is more than a kilometre long and 40 metres wide. It’s a family beach thanks to its easy access and leisure and entertainment activities on offer. It has several play areas where kids can have lots of fun and also a beautiful coastal trail that takes you to Malaga city just 10 kilometres down that coast.

Bil - Bil beach, Benalmádena

Located in the heart of Benalmádena, stretching 400 metres along the coast and 20 metres wide, Bil - Bil beach is the perfect place to go for a pleasant dip in the sea. Bordered by a seafront promenade, its impressive castle with the same name sets this beach apart from others. If you plan a day out to this beach, stick around until it gets dark as the castle, gardens and palm trees light up in the evening, which is a truly magical sight.

 

Fuengirola – Santa Amalia beach, Fuengirola

Fuengirola - Santa Amalia beach is an extension of Fuengirola’s urban beach. It’s situated at the foot of Sohail Castle which hosts heaps of concerts and shows in the summer, while the beach remains quiet and the water clean. What’s more, it’s easy to park nearby and there’s an area for pets.

 

Artola- Cabopino beach, Marbella

Found in the municipality of Marbella, this slice of paradise lets you feel a connection with the nature around you through the dunes - declared a protected area - that line the beach and reveal a wilder side to the province of Malaga. Las Arenas - El Gobernador beach, Manilva

Las Arenas - Gobernador beach has a rocky landscape so it’s great if you prefer to immerse yourself in nature that’s a little wilder. The beach is 850 metres long and reaches La Sardina cove.
