Congresses. European Luxury Hotels Summit
More than 250 owners and managers of the best Europe hotels will celebrate in Marbella the 45º edition of the European Luxury Hotels Summit this weekend. There will be present the three managers of these Costa del Sol Hotels: Puente Romano, Don Pepe andFincaCortesín. This is the fifth time that Spain hosts this event, and also the second one in Andalusia, since the appointment was already celebrated in Seville in 2009.
Sport. Media Maratón Ciudad de Málaga-Media Kids (Ciudad de Málaga-Media Kids Half Marathon)
The children have an appointment next Saturday at the MediamálagaKids, a non-competitive race with festive atmosphere to enjoy a sport day. The distance will be 2,100 metres and all kids can participate, no matter if they are associated to a club or not, but they must be over 5 years old the day of the race.
Photography. Málaga desde sus atalayas
The Photoespacio of La Térmica hosts this new exhibition of original panoramic photos of Málaga, taken between 1854 and 1925, with the funds of the Colección Fernández Rivero de Fotografía Antigua (Fernández Rivero Old Photography Collection). A total of 46 pictures are shown, and they made an historical tour about the city physiognomy, taken from different Málaga watchtowers, such as Gibralfaro, the Alcazaba, the Cathedral’s Tower, the Calvario Mountain etc.
Exhibition. Cuarenta días antes
With the arrival of Lent, Jorge Rando Foundation hosts “Cuarenta días antes...” (“Forty days before...”), a reflection shared by the artists Jorge Rando and Carlos Ciriza. In this exhibition, both painter and sculptor approach to humanism through their faith, and the showing can be visited until March 25th.
