# Stars at Costa del Golf’s courses

With more than 70 first level golf courses, Costa del Sol has become the first destination for golf lovers all around the world. The called [‘Costa del Golf’](http://www.visitcostadelsol.com/golf/play-golf-in-malaga/golf-courses?_ga=2.185815084.403328156.1522653943-1647251443.1521561678) is a reference in South Europe, due to a weather that can reach 20º in winter.

The many advantages of choosing [Costa del Sol](http://360.visitacostadelsol.com/SPANISH/webespanol/webespanol.html) to play golf have made the region an attraction pole of talent and a perfect place for golf schools to spread.

Many golf stars choose Costa del Sol to launch a project, for example the winner of the USA Open, Michael Campbell, who decided to create his school, which is current reference. Also, Jason Floyd, a regular player of the European Circuit and the PGA, has chosen Costa del Golf as his operations centre.

Miguel Ángel Jiménez is a Spanish golf legend, winner of many tournaments and regular player of the European team at the Ryder Cup.
