The Marbella summer has an event that shines with its own light. This is Starlite Marbella, a music, gastronomy, cinema and fashion event which is attended by celebrities and the top national and international artists.
This year, once again, Starlite Marbella’s line-up features top artists. Elton John, Anastacia, Luis Fonsi, Juan Luis Guerra, Eros Ramazotti, Ainhoa Arteta, Joaquín Sabina and Manuel Carrasco are just some of the artists who will be performing on stage at the Cantera de Nagüeles this summer. Starlite Marbella 2017 Concerts
Starlite kicks off on Thursday 13 July with Morat in concert. July will see artists such as Juan Magán (Friday 14 July), Anastacia (Saturday 15 July), Juan Luis Guerra (Tuesday 18 July), Elton John (Thursday 20 July), Pretenders (Wednesday 26 July), Mikel Erentxun (Thursday 27 July) and Carlos Vives (Monday 31 July).
The calendar of concerts continues in August with Joaquín Sabina, Luis Fonsi, Gipsy Kings, Miguel Bosé, Malú, Cantajuego, Ainhoa Arteta, Ana Torroja, Eros Ramazotti, Dani Martín, Niña Pastori & Antonio Carmona, Andrea Bocelli, Ben Harper, Dvicio, la Noche Movida, El Arrebato, Álvaro Soler, Mago Pop, Juan Magán, Sofía Ellar, Jason Derulo, Manuel Carrasco and, again, Morat.
One of the most highly anticipated moments of Starlite is the Noche Movida, in which several artists come together to enjoy the greatest hits of the 80’s and 90’s. If you want to dance until dawn, you shouldn’t miss the DJ sessions, with disc-jockeys of the stature of Juan Magan and Carlos Jean. Another important event is the Starlite Gala, a charity event hosted by Antonio Banderas and Sandra García-Sanjuán.
Gourmet zone and areas for shopping, fashion and art
Starlite offers numerous experiences in the natural setting of the Nagüeles Quarry. One of them is a gastronomic space divided into four zones, where a gourmet offer is presented segregated by food type, as well as a restaurant where you can enjoy a wonderful dinner under the stars.
As for the shopping area, it has 21 boutiques and stands, with brands such as Kiehl’s, Laufen, La Fenestra, Triumph, IQOS, Gilmar, Job & Talent and Elite Class. This area is open through the night from 8 pm to 1:30 am. There are also areas where works of art and fashion are exhibited.
