This weekend, the calendar on the Costa del Sol is packed with ideas to suit all tastes. The **Malaga Jazz Festival** begins at the **Cervantes Theatre** with the performances of, the **Festival of Fantasy Film** continues, and shopping fans have an appointment at the Outlet Fair. We’re going to be busy!

**Festival of Fantasy Film**

Malaga is a city of cinema. Proof of this is the variety of cinematic events that take place throughout the year. This weekend, it’s the turn of the University of Malaga’s Festival of Fantasy Film, an event featuring fantasy, science fiction, mystery and horror films.

## Music

**31st Malaga International Jazz Festival**

Malaga’s International Jazz Festival is an essential event for music lovers. Over the course of these days, artists of the stature of Eliane Elias, John Medeski and Dave Holland will grace the stage of the Cervantes Theatre. In addition, jazz takes to the streets and live performances can be enjoyed in different parts of the city.

**Festivals and Fairs**

Rabbit Festival

Parauta, in the Serranía de Ronda, is celebrating the Rabbit Festival. On Saturday, during the day, visitors and locals can enjoy traditional recipes made with this product. There are also musical performances and tastings of traditional pastries.

## **With children**

**ArqueoRutas: Archaeology workshops for children**

The youngest members of the household will have a great time this weekend at the ArqueoRutas children’s archaeology workshops. The activity will take a tour through different historical eras: from Prehistory to the Middle Ages, passing through the Phoenician and Iberian times and Ancient Rome.
