Malaga's five stars

We now have five restaurants on the Costa del Sol led by chefs with at least one Michelin Star. The chefs that make up this elite group are the main representatives of Malaga's gourmet cuisine, with dishes that combine natural products from the area with cutting edge recipes, thereby creating a delicious harmony for the senses.

José Carlos García (JCG) restaurant

The first Michelin Star is held by the restaurant of chef José Carlos García, located at one of the most representative places on the Costa del Sol:Muelle Uno in Malaga. From his restaurant, in addition to enjoying his delicious creations beside the Mediterranean Sea you can contemplateMalaga landmarks such as The Cathedral or The Alcazaba.

Dani García restaurant

Chef Dani García now holds two Michelin Stars, and you can currently enjoy his recipes at Hotel Puente Romano de Marbella. This cook has extensive experience of the Costa del Sol and Spanish gastronomy scenes, and his dishes contain a mixture of Andalusian tradition and vanguard nuance that provoke a unique and unforgettable sensation that begs repeating.

Kisko García Bar (KGB) restaurant

This gastrobar is owned by chef Kisko García, who holds one Michelin Star for his restaurant in Cordoba, Choco. On this occasion he offers us a mixture of tradition and modernity at his KGB restaurant (Kisko García Bar), located in the centre of Malaga. The chef uses both the decoration and the names of his dishes to conjure up the world of espionage, with names of tapas such as “For our comrades”. In addition, a walk around the area reveals multiple tourist attractions, such as The Cathedral or The Alcazaba.

Skina restaurant

This restaurant is run by chef Jaume Puigdengolas, and draws our attention for being one of the smallest in the world with a Michelin Star. Also located in Marbella, at Skina we can enjoy Mediterranean cuisine based on quality products, tinged with modernity and creativity. In addition, it offers a broad selection of the best wines which, when combined with its dishes, with arouse the passions of good food lovers everywhere.

El Lago restaurant

One of the most traditional restaurants on the Costa del Sol, serving innovative, custom and daring signature cuisine for over 15 years. He has not ceased to surprise since gaining his Michelin Star in 2005, with photographic exhibitions, restaurant refurbishments and all manner of events.  Its chef, Diego del Río, provides two different experiences for lunch or supper at El Lago, which is named on account of its superb views of the lake atGreenlife Golf course.
