Guadalhorce Golf Club is hosting four charity tournaments this summer

The Costa del Golf is welcoming the summer with a varied calendar of golf competitions. Several of the tournaments will take place at Guadalhorce Golf, which is celebrating its Solidarity Summer in July, during which it contributes to four charitable causes. The proceeds from these events will go to the associations Nuevo Futuro, the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), the Malaga Foundation for Assistance to Cancer Patients (FMAEC) and the Vicente Ferrer Foundation.

 

How to participate in the Guadalhorce Golf Club Solidarity Summer

The club will release special vouchers for competing in three or four tournaments. These will include a voucher for the four tournaments at a cost of 90 euros for members and 135 euros for non-members. You can also buy a voucher for three of the competitions (75 euros for members and 115 euros for non-members), while individual matches cost 30 euros for members and 45 euros for non-members.

All tournaments will be played in the 2-person best ball Stableford mode, except that of 22 July, which will be an individual competition. Players who have a current federal licence and a national handicap may participate in these competitions.

In addition, if you sign up for all the Solidarity Summer tournaments, you can participate in the prize draw and the cocktail party where prizes are awarded. The event will come to a close on 29 July with a cocktail party and dinner, awards to players (4-tournament category and 3-tournament category), the raffle which was mentioned above, music and dancing.

The Royal Guadalhorce Golf Club is one of Malaga city’s golf clubs. The course was recently redesigned by Miguel Ángel Jiménez and is characterized by its family atmosphere. It has two distinct parts. The fairways are adapted to the terrain and are flat.
