Golf courses with spectacular sea views in Costa del S

Baviera Golf (Vélez - Málaga)

Baviera Golf (Vélez-Málaga) is a flat course located right in the heart of La Axarquía! Designed by José María Cañizares, this 18-hole course is surrounded by mountains, has a beautiful onsite lake that golfers need to incorporate into their game and offers stunning sea views. Given Costa del Sol’s near-perfect climate, golfers can play this course all year long, too.

Añoreta Golf (Rincón de la Victoria)

Also designed by José María Cañizares, this 18-hole course is perfect for players of all skill levels. It has five lakes, rolling greens and—given the fact that it’s just one kilometre from the coast—it boasts great views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Parador Málaga Golf (Málaga)

The 18-hole Parador Málaga Golf Course is a historic course on the Golf Coast. Opened in 1925, some of Malaga’s most famous golfers have played this course! Adding to its allure, it even has direct beach access and two waterfront holes.

Torrequebrada Golf (Benalmádena)

Designed by José Gancedo, Torrequebrada Golf is thought to be one of the best golf courses in all of Europe. This beautiful, 18-hole course promises subtropical vegetation, panoramic views of the Spanish countryside and the Mediterranean Sea and a magnificent clubhouse with a golf shop, changing rooms, a terrace, a delicious bar-restaurant and even meeting rooms.

El Chaparral Golf Club (Mijas)

Another José Gancedo-designed course, El Chaparral, is notable for its lush landscapes and fabulous coastal views. Along with its idyllic 18 holes, this course is surrounded by a Canarian pine forest and is home to both a golf academy and a well-lit driving range. With so much to offer, this golf course is perfect for beginners and experienced players alike.

Los Naranjos Golf Club (Marbella)

With its rolling greens, wide fairways and several holes surrounded by water, the 18-hole Los Naranjos Golf Club is not for just any golfer! It’s a tough, but beautiful course to play. There is a golf academy, a golf shop, a children’s club, a restaurant and even a barbershop onsite, and it has a terrace that offers some of the most impressive views of Marbella. Located at the foot of the Sierra Blanca mountains, this course has been declared one of the most spectacular golf clubs in all of Costa del Sol by avid golfers worldwide.

Real Club de Golf Guadalmina (Marbella)

Real Club de Golf Guadalmina has two golf courses, Guadalmina Norte and Guadalmina Sur, each with 18 holes. Sitting right on the Mediterranean Sea, this 1959-built club is the second-oldest golf club in all of Costa del Sol. (Although, Guadalmina Sur underwent an extensive renovation and upgrade in 2002.) Thanks to its beautiful views, vast green spaces and wide, smooth pathways that wind through towering trees, Real Club de Golf Guadalmina has hosted a slew of major golf tournaments—including the Women's Spanish Open in 2017. If you’re newer to the sport, we recommend playing the Guadalmina Norte course, which is thought to be the easiest of the two.

Alcaidesa Links Golf Resort (San Roque)

Alcaidesa Links Golf Resort is the only links course in southern Europe. This 18-hole course offers especially notable views, which include the Rock of Gibraltar and the mountainous landscapes of northern Morocco. Designed by Peter Allis and Clive Clark, this course has water and wind hazards that make it more difficult for inexperienced golfers.
