Located in Torre del Mar (Vélez – Málaga), this beach is 2,000m long and promises a wonderful family day out thanks to all the services it has available to you. Your little ones will love playing with the games, slides and swings at the children’s play park located next to the lifeguard station. There is also a lively seafront promenade and a wide range of chiringuitos where you can gorge on espetos (fish skewers) and pescaíto frito (fried fish).


La Malagueta beach (Malaga)

La Malagueta beach is one of the most popular family friendly beaches in the capital of the Costa del Sol. The calm waters lend themselves to children splashing around in the water and building sandcastles for hours. If you want to take your family experience up a notch, you can do so at Water Fun: an inflatable floating water park where you can jump around, climb about and get your adrenaline pumping on the slides, floats and trampolines. And that’s not all. La Malagueta beach has a wide range of services including restaurants, games in the sand and equipment hire for water sports.

La Carihuela beach and Los Álamos beach (Torremolinos)

Next on our list is the vibrant destination of Torremolinos, which is home to one of the most popular beaches in the Costa del Sol. La Carihuela beach is known for its family friendly atmosphere and its wide range of water sports. If you’re something of an adrenaline junkie, you can get your fix as you waterski, windsurf and parasail. Another beach in the municipality, Los Álamos, also has all sorts of activities to keep you busy, namely pedalos, banana boats, kite surfing, paddle boarding and more. Fuengirola beach (Fuengirola)

Santa Ana beach (Benalmádena)

Located between Bil Bil beach to the south-west and Malapesquera beach to the north-east, Santa Ana is one of the most popular beaches in Benalmádena. It’s the perfect place to go with the kids as it has great sports facilities and tends to have small waves. Not far away is Puerto Marina, an area that has plenty of restaurants and leisure activities such as boat rides that will give you the opportunity to go dolphin and whale spotting.

Marbella beach and Elviria beach (Marbella) 

Our look at the most fun beaches in the province of Malaga continues in Marbella. Marbella beach, which is also known as El Faro beach, is one of the most iconic in the area. Here you will find a wide range of activities for all the family: from water sports to bike rides along the seafront promenade, there’s always something fun to get up to. If you’re looking for something a little bit special to do, jump on board a catamaran to take an exploration of the most beautiful coves along the Marbella coast. Just like at La Malagueta, not far from El Faro beach, at Elviria beach, there is an incredible inflatable floating water park. Put your balance to the test on the Tightrope, climb Everest, throw yourself off the Kamikaze and try to miss the obstacles as you fly on your Liana. For your peace of mind, the water park is supervised by lifeguards.
