# Five golf courses in Costa del Sol which are a must

Golf’s lovers can find at Costa del Sol more than 70 golf courses to practise this sport. Marbella, Estepona, Mijas and Benahavís have most of them, although there are other very prestigious facilities in the inner region. Discover **five golf courses in Costa del Sol which are a must.**

 

## **Finca Cortesín**

Recognised by second consecutive year as the best Europe resort golf by users of the 'Leadingcourses.com' web, [Finca Cortesín Golf Club](http://www.visitcostadelsol.com/explore/the-costa-del-golf/finca-cortesin-golf-club-p15531?_ga=2.17316221.573457695.1520847967-131020156.1510675820) is one of the most prestigious golf courses in Costa del Sol. Designed by Cabell Robinson, several refurbishing works were made by the club last summer, for example its greens’ update with a new kind of grass, what made it win the Premio IAGTO de Sostenibilidad de 2018 (IAGTO Sustainability Prize of 2018).

 

## **Marbella Golf Country**

Just five minutes away from Marbella centre, [Marbella Golf Country](http://www.visitcostadelsol.com/golf/play-golf-in-malaga/golf-courses/marbella-golf-country-club-18-hoyos-p10971?_ga=2.17316221.573457695.1520847967-131020156.1510675820)extends along one of the largest green areas of Costa del Sol. Designed by the famous Robert Trent Jones Senior in the 80’s, the club has a golf school with one of the best facilities of the destination.

This 18-hole golf course is surrounded by an amazing landscape. Antequera Golf offers all the necessary services for playing, from buggies and golf club renting, to private lessons and delightful lunches at its restaurant.

Santa Clara Golf Marbella has a technical layout, but easy and pleasant. Its stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and its wide services offer for golf players are highlighted.

 

#### **Valle Romano Golf**

Just in the centre of Costa del Sol, [Valle Romano](http://www.visitcostadelsol.com/golf/play-golf-in-malaga/golf-courses/valle-romano-golf-resort-p10951?_ga=2.250559554.573457695.1520847967-131020156.1510675820), at Estepona, is an outstanding 18-hole golf course which hosts renowned tournaments every year. The course extends about 60 hectares (150 acres), has a layout of five kilometres (3 miles) and was built under the highest quality standards of the United States Golf Association of America.
