Festivals on the Costa del Sol you must discover

If you like music festivals,  what the Costa del Sol offers this summer will blow your mind . Some festivals are already national benchmarks and others have been considered as genuine newcomers.

A great opportunity to learn Spanish, enjoy concerts in the best climate and meet many other music lovers from all over Europe.

We highlight 3 unmissable dates:

OJEANDO Festival

It is one of the biggest references in indie festivals on the Costa del Sol, with the added appeal of being celebrated in a typical Andalusian village full of charm: Ojén.

During three days (the first weekend of July) over 40 bands of alternative pop-rock will meet at this event that combines the expertise of some groups with other emerging artists from Málaga.

Follow the motto and turn the volume up!

Supersubmarina, Fangoria or Love of Lesbian are some of the groups that have already been part of this festival.

Weekend Beach Festival

From 6 to 9 July, the beach of Torre del Mar, in the province of Malaga, will host the third edition of this extraordinary festival with a lineup full of both national and international performers.

Artists as important as Izal, Loquillo or Nach and the exclusive performances in Spain of DJ Skrillex and Wiz Khalifa make up an attractive event that reflects virtually all musical  styles.

Los Alamos Beach

The 14, 15 and 16 July the beach of Los Alamos (in Torremolinos) welcomes a unique experience with the best international electronic music. It was one of the biggest new coming festivals of the past year, with an attendance of more than 40,000 people and a global media impact.

Among the names that are part of the line-up are DVBBS, Nervo, Don Devil and Paco Osuna. In addition, Los Alamos Beach offers a spectacle which goes beyond music, with an impressive stage with fire, trapeze artists, mapping… And the best natural setting - the shores of the Mediterranean.
