In Malaga City, the COAC (Official Singing Group Competition) will be in its preliminary phase from February 8 to 14 at Teatro de la Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático (ESAD), with semifinals from February 16 to 19 at the Cervantes Theater. The grand final is scheduled for February 21, also at the Cervantes.
The street celebration of Carnival in Malaga is scheduled to take place from February 22 to March 3 and with Plaza de la Constitución hosting the greatest number of activities.

It begins at midnight and ends with the Burial of the Sardine on the afternoon of Carnival Tuesday, always before Ash Wednesday.
