Open all year round
During winter, Sea Life Benalmádena is open from 10 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon.
Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office, although it's advisable to buy them in advance from the website, where exclusive online promotions are available. Tickets are valid all day, so you can go in and out at your leisure and participate in the different activities that are organised throughout the day. For an extra 3.50 euros you'll also be able to use the mini golf course or take the behind the scenes tour. An annual pass is also available for 18 euros for children up to 9 years of age.
An unforgettable experience
Can you imagine walking under 500,000 litres of water, contemplating 2,000 species of marine animals and seeing how they swim above your head? During your visit to Sea Life you can join the team of guides and divers on their daily tasks and discover, for example, what each species eats. You can also help to feed them, participate in interactive chats and in workshops.
Discover the marine animals up close
One of the aquarium's most impressive views are those in the underwater tunnel. You'll be able to contemplate the kings of the sea over your very head: the sharks. Another of the aquarium's stars are the fun-loving otters, which can be seen playing both in and out of the water. One of the best times to visit them is while they are being fed (they eat up to four times a day), when their keepers will tell you numerous interesting otter facts and answer any questions you may have.
The perfect visit with children
The youngest members of the family will become real fish experts by filling in the marine passport provided at the entrance to the aquarium. Children will receive a sticker for each species visited. If they show their completed passport at the exit they'll receive their expert medal.
Once you’ve finished your visit, you'll be able to play mini golf without actually leaving the aquarium. The Costa del Sol's climate is perfect for playing golf, so it's good that children can also take advantage and become familiar with the game. And we can't deny that mini golf is fun and enjoyable for children and adults alike.
Conservation of species such as sea horses
Sea Life Benalmádena is more than just a leisure park, it also undertakes important marine fauna conservation and preservation activities. One of its most important programmes is that of the breeding and reproduction of sea horses. Many of these interesting animals can be visited at the centre.
Restaurants and shopping at Puerto Marina
With a privileged location, next to Benalmádena Marina, Puerto Marina has a lot to offer in order to round off your experience. You can enjoy the best cuisine, go shopping, enjoy a moment of relaxation next to the beach or simply stroll around the marina and contemplate its unique architecture.
