7 Marinas in Málaga to enjoy

When we fancy leaving onshore and going offshore we can visit the marinas in Costa del Sol. There, you can enjoy leisure activities for all the family in a comfortable and nice atmosphere. We discover seven marinas in Málaga Province where you can enjoy nautical activities.

Real Club Mediterráneo

It is the oldest nautical club in Spain. Since its foundation, its first aim was to practice Rowing, fostered by youngsters from Málaga interested on water sports in 1873. Nowadays, after two centuries, it has a last generation marina to host vessels up to 15 metres in length. It is located in the Walk of La Farola, 5 minutes on foot from Málaga city centre.

 

Marina of Marbella

Being located in the city of luxury and glamour, the Marina of Marbella counts on 377 moorings. It is located in Marbella city centre, where bars, discos, shops and leisure activities is infinite.

 

Puerto Banús

Since 1970, when it was inaugurated, more than 5 million people have visit it. Puerto Banús has become a referent place due to its nightlife, shopping, luxury and glamour. Numerous famous people chose this area as a second home or a place to go on holidays.

 

Marina of Duquesa

Its location in the same Strait of Gibraltar makes this marina to be one of the most important in the province. One of its peculiarities is the beauty of arriving there by boat. Manilva city, at its back, creates an explosive combination of colours between the blue of the Mediterranean Sea and the white of its street.

 

Marina of Benalmádena

This marina has been twice awarded as the best marina in the world, making if it one of the referent marinas in the old continent. It is characterized by its Arabic, Andalusian and Indian building styles. It counts on several artificial islands giving a touch of modernity being perfectly integrated in its landscape.

 

Marina of Estepona

This is a marina perfect and nice to walk, watch the vessels and sunbath. It stands out because of its facilities – children areas, restaurants, shops…- and a live nightlife in summer.  Estepona meets together in just a few kilometres the best beaches, the best marinas to enjoy water sports and a huge mountain landscape to enjoy onshore and admire the city and Costa del Sol from the heights.

 

Marina of Candado

It is one of the few located in the East of the Province and close to the capital city centre. In addition to water sports, it also offers a 9 holes golf course, only 5 minutes away from Málaga.
