# 5 things you must do at Costa del Sol if you come to learn Spanish

**Costa del Sol** is one of the favourite destinations for those who want to **learn Spanish**. Many of them come attracted by the weather and the town's cultural and leisure offer. The locals' friendly personality makes easy to start conversations, what help to learn faster the language. If you visit Costa del Sol, not only will you learn Spanish, but you could also do many activities and dive into the culture.

## **Enjoying the beaches and the weather**

With more than 325 sunny days a year, **Costa del Sol** has the **best weather** in Europe. So one of the best possible plans is to get lost in some of the uncountable [beaches](http://www.visitcostadelsol.com/explore/the-best-beaches-on-the-costa-del-sol?_ga=2.249940675.418493533.1523865684-972516172.1523261613)  of the region. With more than 160 km of coast from **Manilva to Nerja**, the region is bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, with its warm water becoming perfect to to have a charming bath.

**Málaga** has been a strategic town along the Andalusia history. Many people such as the Romans, Arabians and Phoenicians have left their sign at the town's architecture. ## **Getting lost through the city centre**

The city centre is a perfect place to get lost just walking around and enjoying the different shops of the area. You should walk along **Larios street**, the most symbolic one of the Costa del Sol's capital, and considered one of the Spanish most important shopping streets.

The [Cathedral](http://www.visitcostadelsol.com/explore/monuments-and-areas-of-tourist-interest/catedral-de-malaga-p15281?_ga=2.42921568.418493533.1523865684-972516172.1523261613), built in the 16th century, is one of the most important buildings of the city. ## **Going sightseeing at the inner region**

The Costa del Sol's **inner landscapes** are the region's crown jewel. Going into there you will find many charming villages ready to be discovered.
