However, Malaga also has museums, theatres and hotels that organise activities that the young ones will surely enjoy. We propose five plans in which your trip will include children’s entertainment.
Party at Tivoli World
More than forty rides for all ages surrounded by fountains, gardens and themed restaurants. This is Tivoli World, the great leisure park on the Costa del Sol, which celebrates its 45th anniversary this year. Joining the party is easy. You just have to head to Benalmadena, enter this paradise of fun and start enjoying the Ferris wheel, the Freefall or the many shows that flood the area with their fantasy.
Adventure in the trees
In Marbella, near the famous beach of Las Chapas, is located the largest adventure park in Andalusia. It is Aventura Amazonia, which gathers more than eighty challenges in the trees and twenty zip lines to test your skills and your companions through six exciting circuits. One of them reserved for the youngest of the family and includes challenges, workshops and a climbing wall only for children under the age of seven.
Museums for kids
For its children's activities, the Museo Alborania and the Centre Pompidou Malaga, are two of the exhibition spaces you shouldn’t miss if you are visiting the capital of the Costa del Sol with children. In the latter you can now find a playful exhibition-workshop of the artist Alexander Calder. Another place where children will have a great time is the Interactive Museum of Music, where various instruments can be played.
Among animals
In the municipality of Fuente de Piedra there is a lagoon where you can find the second largest colony of pink flamingos in Europe. But apart from walking around this wetland, we recommend you to stop at Refugio del Burrito. In this sanctuary, dedicated to the care of rescued donkeys and mules from all over the world, kids will learn to respect living beings by approaching these endearing animals. A lesson they will never forget.
Seeking the Smurf Village
Three natural parks and more than twenty villages full of charm make the Serrania de Ronda a perfect region to discover with family.
